Whitney: so family pictures are always a need for us. but mostly, i don’t have any really great pictures of me and my husband, ben. separately or together. all of our pictures are of our kids. and of course, who doesn’t want to take lots of pictures of their cute kids?! but we need to be better about documenting the adults in our family.
and here’s a picture of me… taken by my son, joel.

Marta: hello julia,
as you know, i’d love to be photographed with your lens!! this is such an awesome giveaway op. i would love to go out into the beautiful countryside to do a family trio photograph or a benji portrait would be beautiful. hip hip. your photos are truly incredible. congrats on the big successful launch!

Miranda: hi, this is Miranda! I think it is so awesome how you have gone so far with photography! That’s exciting. I am interested in a session for Senior Pictures- I have yet to take any and I’m looking for a great photographer!!

Shannon: Love, love, love your new website. Congrats! I love your idea for a contest too and would be so excited to win, especially because it would mean a chance to get to meet you. J I’m always the one behind the camera. The only family pictures we have are holiday card photo madness of setting the timer, running into place, and hoping everyone is at least facing the camera at the same time. This usually results in contrived poses, my daughter with her dress over her head, my son trying to attack the camera, and a flustered husband. While I cherish the series of outtakes I usually get from those sessions, I want someone else behind the camera for a change. I would absolutely love to get out in one of the beautiful open space areas we have around here and have you capture photos of our family of four interacting and having some fun in gorgeous golden hour sun. Thanks for the opportunity, and best of luck to you with your contest and new website!

Shelly: My family is expanding and I would cherish photographs to remember this stage of our lives. We are expecting our second baby at the end of September, so there are a few great photo options. You could photograph us before the baby arrives and get some great shots of me, my husband Joe and my adorable toddler Leo. If you preferred, you could wait until the baby arrives and take photos of the new addition as well. I would leave it up to you! Thanks for this opportunity. Having such an accomplished photographer capture these special moments would mean the world to me. I’ll keep my fingers crossed.

Susie: So excited for your new website and contest. Here’s a picture of Max playing in his ExerSaucer. We’d be looking for a session for the two of us. I just started teaching Kids yoga and Mommy and Me yoga and would like to do some promo shots of me doing yoga with my baby.

Betsy: My name is Elizabeth, but everyone calls me Betsy. I am recently engaged to love of my life and would LOVE to have an engagement session with you! With the economy, our pay cuts, and the rising cost of EVERYTHING wedding, we have forgone the idea of engagement shots.
I have attached a head shot my father took of my fiance and I. This is what we are placing in the newspaper and so far using as our engagement photos.
We LOVE the outdoors and anything exciting!! We would love for you to help us show that side of us in our engagement photos. Thanks for your consideration in the contest and I am looking forward to all the new amazing photos in the new blog!

Martha: My name is Martha and I am 20years old. I am an interior design student. I love fashion and looking through the magical spreads in Vogue so I’d love to be in some high fashion photo shoot. I’m no Gisele Bündchen, but I’d be up for anything!

Kristyn: I found out about you through a friend. I would love to have a session with my boyfriend. I am going on a 6 month trip to Peru, and while it is going to be awesome, its also going to be really hard to be apart that long! It would be really great to have some fun pictures of us to take with me (and some for him too!

Terri: Dear Julia, It would be my dream to have you come out to our 100+ year old farm to photograph my family with our Icelandic sheep. We’ve never had a decent family photo done. My son will be heading off to college in the fall and my daughter will be a senior.
Your photography is beautiful!

Rebekah: My family and I are woefully under-photographed. This has been a great source of consternation to grandparents who are usually the ones who end up inviting us to their photo sessions and insisting we get a few shots of our family. The last actual photo session that we had that was exclusively for our family was….our wedding…maybe? We now have four children so it has been a while. The days are simple and often uneventful but I have a feeling that this will stand out as one of the most meaningful times in our memories one day. I would love to have an image to remind me of it. Heaven knows (and so does everyone else who is aquainted with me) I probably won’t get around to taking a picture. Thanks for the chance to win a quality family portrait. If I win I will autograph one for you and it might be worth something one day…maybe.

Kerri: I’m excited to enter your contest, and had a blast looking at all your photos. It’s amazing what you can do with the camera! Why do I want to win? In true Julia fashion, how about a top 10.
10) Molly thinks the world of you, so I can’t wait to meet you!
9) You can take an ordinary family like us and make us look fantastic
You catch more than a photo–you catch a feeling, and THAT is what I’d want on my walls
7) We’ve NEVER had a pro picture in our lives…JC Penneys just doesn’t count, and even then, it’s only been of the kids
6) The only family pics we have are snapshots taken with a tripod by *me*, and I don’t know what I’m doing, nor do I have the artistic eye
5) You’re a spunky gal with fun character, so we’d have fun during the shoot, anyways.
4) My kids have amazing eyes, that I can’t seem to capture in the right pic
3) I’ve never won a contest giveaway before–oh yeah, except once, but it was my sister’s giveaway, so I didn’t really count.
2) I blog. I talk. I show off. People will ask, WHO took that picture? I’ll say, Julia Wade. They’ll ahh in amazement.
1) I live in *****..how cool is that?

Justine: I just found your giveaway, and it is very exciting! I wanted to enter because my bf and I plan to get engaged very soon, (we have the rings, he just wants to wait for the perfect moment haha). So an engagement shoot would be amazing!

Ketti: I would so love to have a family session done by you! We are in need of one, as I have no photos of all 4 of us. Plus I want to meet you! Congrats on the new site! I wanted to get my entry in asap.
I’ve attached the only recent picture I have of myself. It’s not good!

Kate: I’m a budding photographer looking for photos of me doing what I love most–capturing special places, events and the people enjoying them. I love your style and I would love to have you spend the day with me in my beautiful city.
