It’s a little embarrassing to admit, but I squealed a little bit when Melissa called to see if I would be willing to take her family pictures in Nags Head on her family vacation in July. Melissa and I are friends online in a photographers’ forum and also happens to be a crazy talented photographer with the most adorable boys ever! I honestly could not get enough of them. It was so great to meet Melissa in person and see what a wonderful person she is … but I truly already knew it. 
So without further ado, Melissa and her boys. Oh and a HUGE congrats to Melissa and her husband who are celebrating their 10th anniversary in August. Seriously fantastic!

If I knew at the time when I announced my birthday contest to the world that I would get to photograph the Vaisey family, I would feel like the luckiest photographer on the planet, because truly I was the luckiest photographer on the planet to be able to meet this incredible family. They could not be more vibrant with so much personality and love for each other. Jonathan and I are so happy to be able to call them friends. :)
Steve is a sociology professor at UC Berkeley which made for some awesome photographs in his great little office on campus.

I had such an amazing time second shooting for Kellie Kano … people, Kellie cuuurrrrazy talented and after my mentoring session with her in April, I just jumped at the chance to shoot with her.
Marisa and Chris were absolutely fantastic on their wedding day. Calm, cool, collected and so in love. Congrats you two! It was amazing to be a part of your day.
