I am overwhelmed with love and gratitude for the year you all have given me. Thank you for trust, honesty and beautiful lives to photograph. Cannot begin to tell you how much I am looking forward to 2012. Happy, Happy New Year.

I think there’s something to morning light. It’s crisp, clean, fresh and oh so dreamy … especially this time of year. The perfect backdrop for Kat & Greg’s engagement session.
Kat & I are actually good friends, and when the news came that she was engaged to Greg I crossed all my fingers and toes that she would ask me to photograph her wedding, and to my utter delight, an email came in my inbox a few days later with the request. I was over the moon, not only because Kat’s attention to detail will make a wedding never to be forgotten, but it is a special privilege to be able to tell a friend’s love story through your camera lens. It’s really an honor. Kat & Greg are fun, quirky and perfectly suited for each other. Just enough alike to be an amazing match, but just enough different to add interest to the relationship.
We shot at the river rock that Greg proposed to Kat on. That was everything. And then we made sugar cookies. Star Wars sugar cookies. And that my friends, was the icing on the cake. Kat & Greg ::

I wish I could bottle an ounce of Katie’s life and vibrancy. And paired with the perfect southern gentleman, Katie & Lee are made for each other. Uptown Charlotte provided us with a perfect backdrop for our Monday afternoon engagement session, and truly I could not have had a better time with these two. Next August is promising to be pretty incredible and I feel very lucky to have met these two and be a part of it. Without any further ado: Katie & Lee. <3

Megan and Pete won my heart immediately from the moment we met. And how lucky was I for them to come visit all the way from NYC? These two were cool, confident and a fresh breath of air and oh, so in love. And not gonna lie, their session was pure magic. I could not get enough of them. Next May in Charleston cannot come soon enough. Pete and Megan, you two are just amazing. Enjoy a few frames from our engagement session together.
