This sweet family has grown up! And with a new addition on the way this April, I couldn’t be more thrilled to have my sweet friends in front of my lens again. We shot our session in Salt Lake City at the City Library downtown after their move to Utah. Congrats Harmans. Love you. XO

As in a soul rememb’ring my good friends.” -William Shakespeare
Meet the Manettis. Friends who have truly blessed my life and the life of my son & husband beyond measure. I could not love these people more. Here are a few frames from our session together in the beautiful Outer Banks, North Carolina.

When Tricia and I spoke after she won the 2011 JWP giveaway she asked if we could wait to book our session together until her husband, Royal came home from his deployment. That, my friends, was the biggest no brainer of the century, and so our July date was set to meet each other in their home in Colorado and photograph the pair of them and their two sweet, sweet boys.
There is something very special about being able to go into a client’s home to get a glimpse into and photograph their everyday life … to see the way they play together, the way they laugh together, and the way they live together. I am certain that these two little boys could not be more loved and cared for by their parents. It was an honor to be in Colorado to photograph them.
The ice cream (which of course I sampled after we finished at our location!) and incredible mountain landscape were a pretty nice added bonus as well.
Thank you Lancasters for a very memorable trip out west. Your sweet, sweet family definitely made your way into my heart. <3
