Sam & Brody | Married
Posted on April 23, 2012
There was such an ease with Sam & Brody.. both in front of the camera and with each other. Their session (these two will be tying the knot mid-June) flowed beautifully and with the Wasatch Front in Salt Lake City as our backdrop, I’m not sure we could have gone wrong. Sessions like this remind me of how beautiful love is.. and how incredible it is when two people make such a beautiful commitment to each other.
A few frames from our portrait session together.. Congrats Sam & Brody. So very happy for you both.

Hello 2012.
Posted on April 12, 2012
It’s been a quiet few months here at Julia Wade Photography.. and I won’t lie, I’ve loved every quiet minute. With the 2012 wedding season now in full swing, the blog is back up and running, and JWP has a brand new look. The website, our blog and branding has all been updated.. I hope you like. I can again thank Miss Marta Dansie for her incredible work revamping my logo and all of my press. She is oh so very talented.

And here’s what I’ve been up to the last few months.. playing with this sweet boy. I can’t even imagine how much I could love a little person. Here’s to an amazing 2012. Can’t wait to get started. xo

Katie & Mike | Engaged
Posted on February 15, 2012
First, you must meet Laila and Brady … Katie & Mike’s poochies. Y’all should know by now that I have a huge soft spot for doggies and I totally love when my couples bring them to our shoots. Pretty poochies, yes? Brady is truly a horse (great dane, named after THE Tom Brady, 10 months old … still growing) and Miss Laila is about the sweetest boxer you have ever met. They made me smile all morning.
Katie & Mike just clicked for me. They were easy, fun and bold. There were a lot of things that were different about the two of them … Katie was a bit more reserved, Mike more outgoing … but I found that underneath those differences were strong, charismatic personalities and a lot of love. I absolutely adore them.
We shot at Vincent’s Restaurant for our last location – the place of their first date … seriously romantic – and when it was time to wrap up, I simply didn’t want to. Let’s say September cannot come soon enough. Congrats on your engagement Katie & Mike. Thank you for the day, and for trusting me to put you in front of my lens. Here are a few frames from our session together.

Turned out just gorgeous Julia. I love how the trees in the background look like twinkle lights. Just magical. The one outside with the pillars and and the mountain backdrop is AMAZING.
